1. Clean and remove all debris and vegetation from area to be resurfaced and remove all existing speed bumps.
2. When necessary,  cut a heel when the asphalt overlay adjoins existing pavement or concrete entrance ramps.
3. Apply a uniform tack coat.
4. Areas requiring a leveling course will be leveled prior to or during the asphalt overlay.
5. Surface course will be uniformly placed at 2" compacted thickness (average depth) and properly compacted to achieve a smooth and uniform surface.
6. Asphalt overlay will be tapered along gutter pan and a tack coat applied to help prevent moisture intrusion.
 Owner will be responsible for clearing construction area during operation. Area can be re-opened when paving operations are completed. Drainage will not be guaranteed on paved areas having less than 2% grade.
